MultiPro is an international three-month study module implemented in Savonia University of Applied Sciences in Iisalmi. You can select studies from four different degree programmes. The curriculum is divided into core and specialised studies. The core studies are for the whole MultiPro student group and they support your special studies, which you can select according to your interest and study field: Social Services, Health Care, and Agriculture and Rural Industries.

Teaching methods include lectures, teamwork, eLearning and project studies. The students present the results of their learning in a portfolio. An eLearning platform Moodle is used in teaching and communication.

Practical assistance including tutoring, guidance counselling as well as the free-of-charge and extended hours availability of computer facilities are provided for students to ease the transition into study life .

There are about 800 students and nearly 75 staff members in Iisalmi campus. The expertise of teaching lies on strong knowledge of the educational field connected to practise. For several years Problem Based Learning (PBL) and various eLearning methods have been practised in Iisalmi. This module is a result of the development work and emphasis on international studies in Iisalmi.
